Just found that I have 37 available days of vacation on book, means more than SEVEN weeks.
I think I’d better take a super long leave in summer to help company’s bottom line, 7 weeks would be too long but I think I should take at least 4 weeks, and wish I won’t be fired/laid off after that.
I may take longer vacation … I believe I will have 40+ days by that time.
I’m in a meeting with my boss and his boss and bunch of other people from different teams, but all I can feel is that I’m like an outsider, as I just cannot catch up what they are talking.
It is till totally different team to me, and I’m really slow in getting along with the new team and culture even if it already 4 months.
Let’s see.
My car is having battery problem, again, I guess it is the time to get a new car, though economy wise may not be a good timing.
Take this as a reference, that I’m 321st employee here and I was 400 or so 6 months ago, let’s see how things are going in the coming days.
This is a test by posting from Windows Live Writer.
To install some new stuffs for vim, most likely you will have some vba file, run “sudo vim whatever.vba” and then do a “:so %”, things will be injected to system vim.
Just did it on my ubuntu box – I’m going to start server side ppcam stuffs.
I do believe my sight is getting worse, things are fuzzy now especially whenever there is no enough light.
I think the problem is that I spent way too much time before my laptop and in case it is not beside me, I use my blackberry.
All these equipments have small fonts, and I think that’s the reason my eyes are overused. Now I will try to use electronic devices less than before, as I don’t have too much to do as before.
It’s pretty cold in the morning, I still need to open heater … Thinking of it is almost May, it is really weird.
It seems same thing in Beijing as well, people are still wearing sweater.
Time to upgrade again, though I haven’t checked what’s new there.
Ubuntu is doing better than Fetora in upgrade, though both are doing pretty good in update. “update” means keeping system patched within same release, while “upgrade” means upgrading from release to release. I guess I will stick with Uubuntu for sometime till I find anything inconvenience or some fancy feature from other distro.
I never went back to kaixin001 after I told friends I’m going to quite, and I never missed the life with kaixin001 as … it seems I’m not a social style, killing time there is just killing time.
CSDN is another story, reading those posts from newbies are pretty interesting, and seeing some “experts” telling the wrong answer made me pretty angry, and sometime I can learn a lot from people there even newbies.
I’m having some more time recently, so started playing with CSDN again, pity nobody talks about Ada there, though I can find pretty many DirectShow Q&A.
